Designer Collection

When visiting your apartment, there is an option called Designer Collection. This is where you can view clothing items you have downloaded from other players at the Caprice Chalet room. Here's a rundown on how it works.
  1. A room you have downloaded at the Caprice Chalet features a mannequin wearing a design the player has made, i.e. dress, shoes or top.
  2. Ask the character to purchase the outfit.
  3. Visit the Designer Collection at your apartment to view the outfit you have downloaded.
  4. The outfit has been added to wardrobe for you to wear.

Designer Collection is similar to your portfolio as it showcases designs of clothing. Designs can be deleted from your portfolio. Here are some examples of items I have downloaded and added to my Designer Collection.

  1. I've been purchasing designer items from some of the rooms I downloaded, and I was wondering if there was a limit on how many items I can have in the Designer Collection.

    1. Yes there is a limit. When downloading items from rooms, it combines them with the items you have also designed yourself in the portfolio. So sometimes when you are visiting rooms, it will tell you there is no more space. The Designer Collection has a limit of like 6 pages or something.

    1. Did the game tell you that your portfolio was full? You can only hold a certain amount of items in your portfolio

    2. My designer collection only says, "no items available," so I assume my portfolio's empty

    3. Maybe try updating your game from the eshop (if there is a update available) as maybe your game is glitched. Or try visiting the room again and re-downloading the clothes to make sure they save to your designer collection.

    2. You cannot sell your own personal designs, just the ones you do for commission requests. Personal designs can only be worn on your character or placed on mannequins at the Caprice Chalet.

  4. Hey! I finished this game today, and I was wondering, how do I get this place? I think it is called...Designer lounge? Correct me if I am wrong...I don't know how to unlock it.

    1. Evie should visit you boutique and ask you to design an outfit for her. If she likes it, she invites you to join her at the cafe. Visit her at the cafe and she will unlock the Designer Lounge.

    2. I came to this site wondering the same thing. How far do you need to get in the game for her to ask me that?

    3. It should unlock during the main story line of the game and I think it occurs after you start unlocking make-up sets.

  5. Does the Designer Collection have a limit?
I am just curious because both me and my younger sister play the game, I love designing items for and she loves the things I design for her

    1. Yes it does have a limit, I believe it's 5 or 6 pages. So you'll need to delete items once it becomes full sadly :(

  6. Hey, Marzi! I'm trying to recreate the outfit Layota wears when she visits my shop, but I can't tell what colors you used to design her dress and shoes. Can you help me?

    1. Is the outfit a blue/white one with a star hair clip? If so, the dress is an amiibo exclusive item you need to download from the Rosalina amiibo. The shoes are Marble Lily brand in white. I think it should be this outfit as that is the one I'm currently wearing in the game.
If it's not that and it's another dress that is blue/pink with a flower print, I downloaded that from another player.

  7. You downloaded the blue/pink flower dress? I did not know that. And I'm guessing the pink/blue shoes were also downloaded from another player?

    1. Yes, I downloaded it from a mannequin in a Japanese players room as I thought the outfit was lovely! I would have to look at the design to see what it was made up of as I can't remember it off the top of my head right now.

  8. Can you see when other players buy your creations? Do you get the money? I want to know if there are other players who buy my sailor moon outfit.
