Floors, walls and frames can be only by unlocked through interacting with NPC's. For example, complete Design Requests for brand representatives and they will give you a special wallpaper, floor or frame in return.
You can receive special miniatures items through the following methods:
- Attending events with NPC's characters, i.e. visit the Restaurant with Adelaide.
- Complete Design Requests from brand representatives.
- Having your fortune told by Magda who came be found at train station locations.
- Visiting Sasha's shows at the Live Music Club.
- Completing modelling requests at the Photo Studio.
- Purchasing clothes from the Exhibition Hall - once you have purchase a certain amount of items from a brand, the representative will provide you with a special miniature of their clothing.
- Completing the Fashion Show. Ricky will provide you with a miniature item.
- Talking to NPC characters with musical notes.

ReplyDeleteThe miniature drum kit can be unlocked through visiting Sasha when she performs at the Live Music Club. Also if you download a room to your Caprice Chalet and it has the item in it, you can purchase it there.
DeleteThe game says I have received plenty of miniature clothing items, usually when I spend a lot at a certain vendor in the Exhibition Hall, but when I go to decorate my room at the chalet, the clothing I've earned does not show up in my miniatures box?

The miniatures items you receive from brand representatives are under the clothing category. You need to select a clothing display item first then click bits and bobs and the items should appear. Other items can be placed on shelves and tables.
DeleteYou don't need to buy the miniatures, they should be in your miniatures collection at the Caprice Chalet.
Select the table when its placed in the room and an option will appear the bottom of the screen called 'Bits and Bobs'. Select this option and it will bring up a menu that allows you to select certain items to place on the table. Different tables have different amounts of spaces available on them and only certain items can be placed on tables (the game will show you which ones).

ReplyDeleteFollow these steps to buy items from rooms you have downloaded:
Delete1. Place the room you have downloaded into your Caprice Chalet.
2. When you first enter Caprice Chalet from the main menu, select the room and you will be able to visit it. You will be greeted by the owner of the room.
3. Select the item you are interested in on the bottom screen and the owner will talk to you about purchasing it. Select the top item option if it is an item on top of a display.
4. A price will be given for the item and you can purchase it.

ReplyDeletePlace the miniature man into the room and select the Bits and Bobs option to place an outfit on it. Then you can place clothing items you have designed onto the miniature man to display in the room. This is the only thing you can do with turning designs into miniatures. You can turn photos into a poster miniature at the Miniatures Shop.
DeleteThe miniatures I've collected are not showing up. Do they disappear after a certain amount of time?
ReplyDeleteThey shouldn't disappear. They may be in use and that's why they won't appear when you try to use them. Miniatures will still come up in the selection menu, but if you don't have any available in stock, it can't be used.
