Zoey is the photographer who works at the local Photo Studio and will be the one taking photos of you when you complete photo shoot requests or design your own photo shoots. Zoey will visit you boutique requesting a new outfit to wear when she does a speech on stage at Bun-Bun Funland.
Zoey's personal style is preppy and likes items from the Brooke Bridge brand. Select the image 'preppy' and design an outfit based around this style. Remember to choose clothing items appropriate for the season, i.e. you cannot wear just a tank top in winter as the character will remark how they will get cold. Each character will have a budget you will need to stay within and you can go slightly over the budget by about $80. Once you are happy with the outfit, select Ok.
You can select either 'Try It On' or 'Take A Look' when showing the character the outfit you have chosen. Select the 'Try It On' option if you are confident they will like the outfit or if you select 'Take A Look', you will get 3 tries to try to impress the character with an outfit.
If you chose 'Try It On' and the character is highly impressed with the outfit, the game will play a short animation showing the character in their new outfit. The background of the animation changes depending on the style the character is wearing.
Looks like Zoey is impressed with her new outfit. She will tell you what aspects she likes about it and usually will comment on how preppy it is. During this scene, characters will give you hints on the styles and colours that they look for in an outfit. Zoey likes preppy items that have minimal patterns such as stripes or checks as well as accessories such as bags or glasses.
After this, Zoey will pay you for the outfit and the amount is added to your money in-game. Zoey will comment that they outfit was just what she was looking for and is perfect for her performance at Bun-Bun Funland. She will invite you to visit her at the Bun-Bun Funland which can be accessed via the train station. You do not need to meet her immediately and can visit whenever you like. However, you will be unable to accept modelling jobs or take photos yourself at the Photo Studio until you have visited Zoey at the Bun-Bun Funland. When you visit Zoey, she will give you a special photo studio miniature item as a gift.
I just want to mention that Zoey also accepts Basic outfits. I've seen her take just about every kind of Basic outfit that I composed. As a result, you're not entirely limited to Preppy accessories for Zoey.

DeleteYou must not have attempted to try a Preppy outfit for a fashion show then, since there are a good number of Preppy outfit customers in the game. Of course, I have found that Preppy outfits don't exactly get above average ratings for any contest theme, so you could always decorate a mannequin with a Preppy outfit.

Yeah, and she also accepts sporty outfits. And Sasha accepts bold outfits, which surprised me.

DeleteYou could definitely give it try as her style preference is boho-chic which is related to eastern. I would try out an outfit that contains items from both styles and see how you go.

ReplyDeleteIt actually doesn't matter what colors or patterns are used in the outfit. The only things that matter are the styles that all have to match and if it's winter or summer it has to be warm or cool enough to fit the season. Spring and autumn are free range
ReplyDeleteAlso when it comes to basic outfits that she likes, it cannot match the same color as her skin. This is the same with all basic outfits and what colors they won't accept depends on their skin color. Her skin is peach-colored, so you need to avoid clothes that are pink or beige.
