Caprice Chalet - Sweet Shop Rooms

At the Caprice Chalet, you can create different themed rooms and rent them to characters in the game. Only certain themed rooms can be rented out to characters and must have specific items placed in them to fit into a rental category. This post will look at the bakery themed rooms and renting them to characters.

Sweet Shops are similar to other food shop themed rooms as they are set up like a business with food items for sale. Sweet Shops must have a shelf item such as the Confectionery Showcase and a cash register. There is a Sweet Shop Counter that can be used along with Sweet Shop tables. The room must be decorated with candy or sweet themed food miniatures. Ideal food miniatures to use include cakes, macaroon tower and colourful sweet shop jar

Characters will appear at your boutique with a small house symbol above their head. Select this character and they will tell you how they noticed a room at the Caprice Chalet that had a certain theme. With bakery themed rooms, the character will talk about how they would love to run a sweet shop and love visiting candy stores.

The character will request to rent the room out and you can either select yes or no. The rental periods for rooms is 24 hours and renting out rooms is a good method for earning money without effort in the game.

Characters will stay in the Caprice Chalet room for about 24 hours. When you visit the Caprice Chalet, rooms that are rented out will have a small person icon displayed on them. If you select this room during the rental period, the character will tell you how they are going or how business is doing. Visit the room after the 24 hour period and the character is ready to leave the room. They will thank you for allowing them to rent the room and tell you how they went. The character will then pay you the rental fee for using the room. The rental fee for sweet shop themed rooms is $1000.

Character Descriptions - Part 4

In Style Boutique 2/Style Savvy 3, the characters you will encounter in the game have been given some rather amusing character descriptions. When you click on a NPC, it will bring up a preview of the character and some information about them. It will display their name and some brief information about their personality or hobbies. Some of the profile descriptions are pretty normal, but there are quite a few silly or ridiculous ones.

Here are a few examples of the amusing character descriptions of some of the NPC's in Style Boutique 2/Style Savvy 3. More posts to come because there seems to just be an abundance of these in the game.

Boutique - Adelaide Outfit Request

Throughout the game, the main NPC's will visit your boutique to request new outfits. Some characters request new outfits for an event or as their normal outfit they wear in game. Each character has their own personal style and a list of each characters style can be found here.

Adelaide is Ricky's older sister and has a powerful personality. You will encounter her in the main story line of the game and you need to impress her to stop her from closing down the fashion shows. After this, she will become a close friend to your character. Adelaide will visit your boutique requesting a new outfit to wear as her normal outfit.

Adelaide's personal style is chic and likes items from the Enid Chen and ARIANNA brand. Select the image 'chic' and design an outfit based around this style. Remember to choose clothing items appropriate for the season, i.e. you cannot wear just a tank top in winter as the character will remark how they will get cold. Each character will have a budget you will need to stay within and you can go slightly over the budget by about $80. Adelaide has a incredibly large budget so you can try selling her expensive pieces. Once you are happy with the outfit, select Ok.

You can select either 'Try It On' or 'Take A Look' when showing the character the outfit you have chosen. Select the 'Try It On' option if you are confident they will like the outfit or if you select 'Take A Look', you will get 3 tries to try to impress the character with an outfit.

If you chose 'Try It On' and the character is highly impressed with the outfit, the game will play a short animation showing the character in their new outfit. The background of the animation changes depending on the style the character is wearing.

Looks like Adelaide is impressed with her new outfit. She will tell you what aspects she likes about it and usually will comment on how chic it is. During this scene, characters will give you hints on the styles and colours that they look for in an outfit. Adelaide is a fan of chic outfits as she mentions how she is fond of plain patterns and it fits within her budget.

After this, Adelaide will pay you for the outfit and the amount is added to your money in-game. Adelaide will comment on how impress she is and how the outfit is wasted on just wearing it for work. She will invite you to visit her at the Restaurant which can be accessed via the train station. You do not need to meet her immediately and can visit whenever you like. When visiting the Restaurant with Adelaide, she will ask to take a photo with you and give you a miniature item as a gift.

Caprice Chalet - Object Shop Themed Rooms

At the Caprice Chalet, you can create different themed rooms and rent them to characters in the game. Only certain themed rooms can be rented out to characters and must have specific items placed in them to fit into a rental category. This post will look at the object shop themed rooms and renting them to characters.

Object shop themed rooms are similar to boutique themed rooms as they are set up as a shop with items for sale. They must have a counter with a cash register or till placed on it. The room must be decorated with small knick-knack items or small clothing items. If you place too many clothing items, especially large ones, customers will refer to it as a clothing boutique. It can be quite difficult to get the right balance between objects and clothing items. Small clothing item miniatures can be purchased from the Miniatures Shop and small miniatures such as knick-knacks or make-up sets may be received as a gift for completing photo shoots or other events in the game. For example, the swaying musical note shown on the shelving unit below is unlocked via the photo studio.

Characters will appear at your boutique with a small house symbol above their head. Select this character and they will tell you how they noticed a room at the Caprice Chalet that had a certain theme. With object shop themed rooms, the character will talk about how they are interested in cute objects.

The rental fee for object themed rooms is $1000.
