Another month has come and gone and so has another Style Boutique poll! The question for October was 'What Purple
Moon costume will you be dressing up in for Halloween?' and there was 144 votes this month.
So the results are in for which costume you want to wear for Halloween and here are the results:
1st = Ninja
2nd = Halloween Top/Skirt
3rd = Ballerina
4th = Cat
5th = Fairy
6th = Regal & Tuxedo Bunny
7th = Cosmic Dress
8th = Genie, Dress Of Hearts, Pirate, Red Riding Hood, School Uniform & Waitress.
9th = Clown, Maid & Mii
10th = Christmas Outfit & Train Conductor
11th = Carousel, Flight Attendant & Frog
12th = Cheerleader
This poll had a lot of answer to choose from and I was actually surprised at the end result. The Ninja costume had a whopping 27% of the votes! It seems everyone is really excited to dress up as a ninja this year. The simple Halloween Top/Skirt came in second with 13% of the votes and the ballerina was third with 8% of the votes. The rest of the outfits made up the remaining percentages and I was surprised cheerleader was in last place, I thought that would be a popular outfit.
Thought we would do another character poll and this time it will be about the Five Sisters. Readers of the blog love the Five Sisters and I thought it would be fun to find out who is the most popular sister among the blog's readers. So the question is 'Who is your favourite sister of the Five Sisters?' To vote, simply
scroll down the side bar and the poll
is
under the game box images. If you cannot view the poll, please visit the
blog using the web version. The blog is not available in mobile view on
some devices. If you are on a mobile, select 'View web version' at the
bottom of the page.

Caprice Chalet - Office Themed Rooms
At
the Caprice Chalet, you can create different themed rooms and rent them
to characters in the game. Only certain themed rooms can be rented out
to characters and must have specific items placed in them to fit into a
rental category. This post will look at the office themed rooms and
renting them to characters.
Office themed rooms are set up and decorated like a room you would study or work in. These types of rooms can be difficult to design as you need to place the right combination of items and it can take some experimentation to find what works best. Office themed rooms require a desk and chair to be placed in the room. Ideal small miniatures to use include items such business files, messy scrap paper and a radio. If you have downloaded the Animal Crossing Happy Home Designer DLC, there is a photocopier miniature available that would be perfect for an office space.
Characters will appear at your boutique with a small house symbol above their head. Select this character and they will tell you how they noticed a room at the Caprice Chalet that had a certain theme. With office themed rooms, the character will talk about how they could get a lot of work and studying done in the office room at the Caprice Chalet.
The character will request to rent the room out and you can either select yes or no. The rental periods for rooms is 24 hours and renting out rooms is a good method for earning money without effort in the game.
Characters will stay in the Caprice Chalet room for about 24 hours. When you visit the Caprice Chalet, rooms that are rented out will have a small person icon displayed on them. If you select this room during the rental period, the character will tell you how they are going or how business is doing. Visit the room after the 24 hour period and the character is ready to leave the room. They will thank you for allowing them to rent the room and tell you how they went. The character will then pay you the rental fee for using the room. The rental fee for office themed rooms is $800.

Style Boutique 2 has an exciting feature of taking photos to unlock
colours in the colour palette. These colours can be used for in various
other parts of the game including hair and make-up colours. To
unlock colours in the colour palette, you simply travel to different
locations through the city and take photos of certain environments or
items. Then visit Primrose Park and show Rainbow the photo you have

To unlock Celebration Pink, the best way is to get a main NPC to invite you to meet them at the Restaurant. If you give them the correct one that matches their style, they will invite you to visit them at the Restaurant.
Once you have been invited, head to the train station and travel to the restaurant. It should have a stars icon displayed on the Restaurant icon. You will start talking to the character and this is when you can take the photo of the colour. The colour Celebration Pink is found in the flower bouquet that is displayed in the background. You have a few mintues to take the photo, either when you are talking to the NPC or when you take the photo with them. In order to unlock the colour, take a photo that looks like either of the two shown below.
After you have finished talking to the NPC, you will be taken directly back to the train station. Head to Primrose Park and talk to Rainbow. Show her the photo to unlock Celebration Pink.
